My tank is no longer able to be sustained by full saturation kalk, even dripping over 10 gallons a week.

So I just got this in the mail today.

Absolutely pindrop silent. You couldn't hear it over a bunny fart.

Oh & I got the meshwheel mod in the mail today too. Well actually I got my ceramic shaft in the mail cause I broke my old one :mad2:

Anywho, my ER is outta control. That mesh mod turns it into a bubble mad man!!!! I've got my hands full trying to get this monster under control.

So far its not any louder than the needle wheel.... AND MAN THIS THINK CRANKS OUT MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF TINY BUBBLES!!! :eek2:

That is all for now, carry on :)

Oh & I just ordered this from autotopoff.com

Dual switch with safety back up to use for my kalk now. I have been using a Kent float but it keeps getting clogged with calcium build up.

i just tried to sell one of these at the garage sale! where were you then? haha

I know, I just heard about that.

If that was the garage sale at SITC I was the best man in my brothers wedding that morning.

How much were you asking for it?

Let me know how the auto top off works.
I've got to set up something for when we go on vacation next month.
I'll probably use some sort of gravity feed - I can't take a chance going into the RO unit.

Note to self - wood floors and big tanks don't like each other.......

Thanks,

Fuzz

I hear that on the wood floor. I considered putting my tank near a carpeted area, but after having FO tanks before I know how bad of an idea that was. Mine sits in a large area of porcelin tile.

I will let you know how the ATO works. I really like the idea of having a backup safety switch. No matter how reliable the main switch is you know its a matter of time.

Oh, & I just ordered this

I already have a pinpoint PH meter & probe but this controller will allow me to shut off the dosing pump when my ph reaches 8.4 or higher.

And it will give me a second opinion on PH so that I am not relying on my pinpoint or Milwaukee by themselves.
