new true perc problems

I just bought a true perc and had it for a day now and it just likes to stay in the bottom right hand corner near the sand bed. It doesn't seem to want to swim anywhere else in the tank and it seems it is breathing quite rapidly. I did a water change a 4 days ago and all corals and other inhabitants look good. I have 12 gallon with a 70w MH and fuge in the back...

what should I do?

nope, no ick or anything like that. Man this sucks, I waited forever for the fish store to get some true percs and he doesn't look to good in my tank.

Don't have my test kit right now let my friend borrow it but I just had a couple of false percs in my tank right before I got this guy and they were doing fine! How do I know that I don't have enough oxygen in tank? My inverts (fire shrimp, hermits) are fine, snails are fine, zoas and xenia fine...

should I do a water change just in case?

Maybe this new perc has what is commonly called clown's disease...I hope someone with some experience will jump in and give you a hand!

My guess without a pic would be its the beginning stages of Brooklenella (I probably spelled it wrong)

Does your clown look pale in color?
