It came today! I haven't had much time to play with it, but I think it will be a good fit for the 37g. Anything much bigger than that you would want 2 or more.

Flow seems to be fairly strong but not as wide as the koralia or mj mods. There are some simple mods to increase this, but I don't think I will need the extra flow.

The asthetics of the pump are nice and the magnets are super strong. You can only hear it running if you put your ear up to the glass, but I also have a bunch of other loud pumps/fans going so more testing needs to be done there.

The shaft is made out of stainless steel which I love. I always break the ceramic ones.

Now for the bad, the single controller doesn't have as many options as I thought it would. Basically you chose how fast it alternates and how powerful to make the 2 settings. I have one set to the least powerful and the other to the most. I wish you could make it stay on the least powerful for longer than the most powerful, but there is no control on keeping it at one setting longer than the other. (if that makes sense)

Is it worth the $$$? Overall it isn't anything too spectacular. For me it was a lot of money for what it is. If you have the money though, they are certainly better than any other noncontrollable pump.

Thanks for the review, Lee! I was thinking about getting one for my tank. Unfortunately it's a little ways down there on the wish list as I still have to stock fish and a few other things.

Keep us updated on how it performs for you after a few months.

I use two in 3x2 90 gallon sps system and really like them. The right pump for your tank depends on so many factors. For me it was the extremely small size, wide strong flow, and quiet operation that worked for me. I like the magnet attachment too. I hooked them up to my Tunze wavemaker that I had been using on my 120 system (which I'm taking apart). They're a lot more expensive than the larger Koralia's (not sure if I spelled that correctly), but again, it really depends what your needs are.
