New with question

Hi I am brand new to the salt water hobby! I have an 18 gallon tank I got from my brother. It is already set up nice with one fish. I do not know the breed of fish, it is yellow and apparently aggressive. My brother told me not to put any other fish with him because he will stress them out. The tank also came with two chocolate chip star fish and one crab. My question, is it advisable to place two crabs in one tank? I would like to get another one, but do not know if it is a good idea. Any advice for this newbie? Thanks so much! april918

it is fine to put crabs together however i would be more worried about the starfish in that small of a tank.

You're likely safe with two crabs, but if you could post pictures or names of the exact animals, that might help.
