new yellow tang

my wife bought me a new yellow tang, from petland lol,but any how it was doing fine until today it is thin looking and laying on its side, with one milky looking eye, i checked my water and everything is good, it will move slowly and eat a little, this is a long term established tank another site suggested it was a swim bladder problem or dietary, the colors and fins look great any ideas what to do

Petland's are mostly individually owned and operated. I was at one this past weekend and they actually had nice coral and a nice selection of fish. Coincidentally the yellow tangs were the only fish with ich in the store. Does not sound like yours has ich, could be swim bladder, or he could of just had handled improperly coming from the ocean. They say yellow tangs are among the hardiest of this genus, I hope yours pulls through.
