I was at one a few years back and it was well done, Randy and Pratt are a good host, and the coral selection was good.

I went last year and thought it rocked! I cleaned up on the raffles as well :) Randy and Pratt were awesome!
Joe you going this year?

Trying to clear my schedule to attend.
Never enough coral!

I was there last time. The swap was very well planned, and lots of attendence.

You would not find $2.- for Xenia or $5.- for a big piece of SPS like we had in LIRA meetings because of hundreds of people there, but there were lots of good stuff which I could not find in the stores or from our LIRA auctions. I bought quite a few items, including a 1/4" tiny pink Xenia donated by Sanjay, and I won the auction for $80.-. Now the Xenia is 6" in my tank.

Jake Adams is one of the best speakers I have experienced in the past few years. I attended his seminar held by NJ Reefer Club last year. His theory about water motion is inspiring, and his photos in the presentation are astonishing.

I will definitely go again.

James;

The peice that you got from me is either a effloutanria or a giant cespitularia. Under strong lighting and when viewed from the top it looks like this picture below. Its not a coral in large circulation in the hobby.

I will donate a couple of these to the MR frag swap auction.

I think it's actually at Pratt. Looks like a mistype because the email i got and the MR website say Pratt brooklyn campus.

Sanjay,

I spoke to you a while back about a trade of a frag of this for a frag of my Blue Cesp. Are you still interested in trading? Or would you be willing to sell a frag? I won't be at the swap, but I could have someone do the trade or bring the $ for it.
