New YWG pair

Just got home from LFS. Cut me a "deal" ha ha on 2 YWG. They were sharing same hole. Both are yellow. 1 is smaller than the other. Searched and can't find much on if one will change sex. Searches say female turns gray in color.
Any experiences?

A LFS had paired YWM gobies that shared a common burrow. Both stayed bright yellow, and never strayed far from their burrow or each other. I have not seen many "pairs" in tanks but I would be surprised if the female changes as this species not generally exhibit sexual dimorphism.

I dont know if they are a Pair or they just cohabitate in the same burrow. Just added play sand to QT tank. It had crushed coral. They immediately made a burrow in it and moved in together. No I am not worried about silica as it is just a QT. They looked unhappy on crushed coral bed. I moved it all to one half and put play sand on the other, as crushed coral is from sump and has the bacteria in it so I dont have ammonia problems. Will do frequent water cahnges anyway.

10 bucks off. They found the shrimp immediately. I only see then 1~2 times a week. They never come out of their cave.

Give it some time and they will come out if there are no real aggressive fish in the tank. Try placing food near the burrow but out of reach unless the gobies come out to get it. The will quickly catch on! Any pics?
