today at work i saw these 2 cinnamon clown picking on another cinnamon. i felt bad for him and put him in a tank by himself. at the end of the day i flet bad for him and really wanted to take him home with me. My boss said i could have him for free, since he was so torn up, so i brought him home. I know i probably shouldnt add him to my tank:but i couldnt just leave him. In my tank I have 2 false percs and an algae blenny. i know i work at a fish store and should know that this shouldnt work, but does anyone have hope for this situation?

Long term, no.

Short term, you can likely nurse it back to health and then return it to the store. In my experience, once you get below 6 clowns in a tank, they begin to focus on the weakest and kill them off 1 by 1. Sounds like the shop should invest in a few dividers to prevent the situation.

Good luck, feed it well, be on the look out for secondary bacterial infections.
