Hey everyone I'm still a newb but I was wondering can I hook up the water level sensor through profilux to turn off my pump if the water level drops too low? The idea is to setup with my return from my sump so if the drain gets stuck/plugged what have you then the return wont overflow the tank. Can I do this? Will this work?

Yep this is possible the profilux has probbaly the most advanced water level control available

set a socket function to water 1 and plug you return pump into that

Go to level control and set to return pump

You can play with delays and other fun stuff there also.

Oh I don't have one yet I was just wondering if it is possible to set it up like that. I have yet another question the profilux have places to plug pumps and lights into? I see it normally comes with a power bar right? The profilux have some sort of way of knowing the difference between each outlet on the power bar? Also can you add additional power bars? Lastly what is the limit to how many power bars you can have attached to a single profilux? Sorry a lot of questions still trying to get a hold on this stuff.

Hi

For non dimming the light power comes from the power bar.

The Profilux does know the differences between each socket you can even program it and assign it tasks, such as mentioned above, water 1, or pH down, there are so many programmable options, probably more than anyone here will ever use.

If using the dimmable features for lighting yes there are other places to conrol lights from such as the L ports, these are 1-10V controllable ports that control the dimming capabilities, the main power would then come from any wall socket.

With the ProfiLux 3 you can add as many digital powerbars as you like, you could have 1,000 sockets if you wished! Not that we are trying to be too expandable of course :)

Please feel free to ask as many questions as you require, I am here to help ;)
