Newbe Question?

This is a stupid question but , should I turn off my filters and skimmer when Im feeding my coral? If so how long should I keep them off?

I usually turn off the filter and skimmer for about half an hour but keep the recirculation going, you need the flow to take the food to the corals of course this is only is you are not spot feeding toherwise you want to stop all flow.
Go easy in the coral food, If the are photosynthetic they will need very very little, otherwise you may end up with high phosphates and nitrates.
