Newbie coral aggression question..

I know that different coral species can sting each other with sweeper tenticles, etc.

But what I haven't been able to find is whether two different colonies of the same coral type can sting each other.

For example, will a pink frogspawn placed immediately adjacent to a green frogspawn hurt each other?

Or can different color morphs of Zoanthus sting each other? Because I often see pictures of them stacked immediately side by side.

Or are the corals immune to each others sting since they are the same species?

Thanks

Commonly, Euphyllia will not sting each other. Frogspawn and hammers can cohabitate. A torch, however, is a different story from what I've seen. They needs to be seperate. Most zoas will do fine together, ime. :)
