Tanks is 65 gallons and these hairy mushrooms are in the places where I could add sps corals. I would like to get some colorful sps in here. I have a green slimer and a few others. Thanks

What kind of lighting do you have? You have a lot of LPS, which could sting the crud out of your SPS. I see some montipora and birdsnest in there, so you have an SPS start. Place them up high, away from LPS...

Thanks I have 8 T-5 39 watt lamps. I have had my sps stung and killed by mushrooms before. The galaxy coral on the bottom and LTA could also sting SPS. I guess I could pile up more rocks and drill them.

I really like my Pocillopora damicornis. A lot of the frags you seen in stores are greenish-brown, but Dr. Mac carries some very colorful aquacultured frags (bright pink, yellow w/green polyps). And they're hardy: my yellow damicornis was picked almost bare by an underfed shrimp, and it's already grown almost all of its polyps back just 10 days later or so.

Do zoas kill SPS?; my birds nest is surrounded by these They came with the Nepthea.

Nope but they will out grow it for space if your SPS don't grow fast. But i would recommend either removing some LPS/softies or considering a reaquascape for the space as there is really no place i see that an SPS could not be stung (and i've found SPS that are stung don't do well). Hope that helps, Wiz ;)
