What's up guys, new into the reefing hobby. I have a 55 gal tank with an eshopps sump. Everything has been going good the last couple of months. Everything is healthy, and loving life. One thing that I have noticed is my tank is a little, I wouldn't say cloudy but not crystal clear. All of my levels are good and salinity is on point. Are there products out there that help you get that clarity in the water?

Hi there. Welcome to the hobby. IMO, your best best is to run carbon. Do you have a reactor?

Carbon is a fantastic tool for clear water. That being said, sometimes your lighting makes things seem a bit more cloudy than they would otherwise appear. Running lights on the blue side can give a cloudy appearance over more white light (even though looking through one end you can see every detail of a fish on the opposite side).

I tried dosing in the past, maybe I'll give it another try. I was thinking the same thing with the lighting, I can see perfectly fine throughout, just bugs me when I can see moving particles in there.
