newbie script guide for ac jr

Is there a guide for basic scripts for a ac jr for things like heaters, MH lighting, t5 lighting, dosers, and such? I am new to these controllers and I don't want to screw up a script and cause a tank crash.

You should take a look at the default program; it is listed in the back of the manual. Many times the default program will work as-is or with slight changes to suit your particular tank.

Beyond this there is no a beginner's guilde like you are asking for but on my website I have an AC3 simulator which can be used to try out your program and see how it reacts to different tank events (e.g., temperature changes, time, etc). You can do all this inside the Windows application before moving to your controller.
