Newbie to RC Online Community

Hi,

I am excited to think that I finally took the time to become a member and then found SWAM!

I have been slowly venturing into the reef world for the past year after having fish only SW for 10 years and FW for many years. I guess I should add that to my profile.

I look forward to attending a meeting soon. I would attend the one scheduled this weekend in Freeport however; we are having a birthday party for my youngest son (turning 10 - ouch ... reminds me that every year he gets older ~ so do I).

Sissy, Welcome to SWAM. We are having a coral frag auction for our May meeting I believe. Denise, correct me if I have the wrong month. Good place to get coral frags reasonably priced and fully acclimated from another club member's tank. Hope to see you there. Watch this forum for more details about exact day and time and place and driving instructions to the meeting. Have fun, this is a really nice group of really cool people. Mat did suggest an auction and May was picked, date and location TBD, June is a tank tour in Windham with Theresa.. later this summer our annual auction /picnic at Dawns..

Yes, welcome! I went to my first meeting last month and picked up a couple frags for a very good price. They are looking absolutely fantastic. The meetings are well worth attending and you get to know some very nice people.
