You'll be surprised (dismayed, horrified, amazed, perplexed) by how soon your 2.5 gallon tank grows to something much larger... seems like tanks have a way of growing faster than corals.

Welcome... and as someone who is fairly new to the game, I think you'll find the RC site and the club helpful in ways you couldn't even dream possible at this point.

i know i am absolutly in loce with this hobby/passion. Ive always been a diver and now am into reef keeping. I ve had my tankk for about a month and now a i want to get a nano cube.

Did someone say upgrade? I went from a 80 which stressed me out down to a 10 up to a 20 tall to a 29 back to the 80 and moveing up to a 180 but seriously concidering going ahead and ordering the tall in it to be 240ish..... I have a problem....

AND welcome!! Jfollies house is the next meet and she has a beautiful 90. Some of the nicest aquascaping I have seen. You should come.

This is so true, I have a orange cap from the 20 tall days (2 years ago) the same size because I keep breaking it up by accident with all the tank tinkering and swapping! :lol: My tank keeps outgrowing my coral!

40H to 40H and 55 to 55 and 125 to 125 and 75 and 10 frag and 5.5 at work and 20L reef and 20L QT w/2-100 gallon rubbermaid tubs full of rock, to 125 and 120 and 10 frag and 5.5 at work and 20L reef and 20L QT w/2-100 gallon rubbermaid tubs full of rock. Once the needle hits the vein, it's all over.

its amazing how you aquire numerous tanks. i went from a 5 to a nano cube to a 29to a 75 now a 200 and hopefully a 180 rolling by the end of the summer. before you know it your 2.5 will turn into a 240. you have metal halides on the 2.5 right
