"Newbie" LOL, that still includes me!

I have a small bucket of beginner corals. If I was selling it by the frag it would go for more than $300. Come get it all at once for $100.

The bucket will include:
A few frilly green mushrooms
Lots of brown polyps
Green star polyps
Small colt
Devil's hand leather frags
Couple small SPS frags
One frogspawn head
This is all attached to 10-20lbs of well seasoned live rock

Just a few requests:
Please do not respond to this post. (except for OT Crew, always invited !)
No trades.
This is all for one sale, no parting out
This is not first call first serve.......it's the first person at my door with $100 cash, first serve :)
Please call to arrange pickup TODAY.
I live far west: 60175

If your a veteran reefer, there's nothing here you want.
If you a new reefer, your boat just came it. Come fill up your nanocube in one stop and very inexpensively.

Thanks all,

Very nice Ed - thanks. I have yet to attain newb status (tank still in the planning stage) but it's really encouraging to see folks like you that go out of their way to help other reefers.

To all of you who help - and you know who you are -

What do you have for a supposed experienced reefer who actually has the knowledge of a newbie? and yes im referring to tonya :p
(official member of the ot crew here)

On a more serious note, your offer is quite generous and i hope someone just starting out in this hobby jumps on it. There are so many people here who help newbies and experienced people alike that it makes me proud to be a part of this community.

Wow, I apologize for being presumptuous. I thought someone would jump on this?

Still available.

I don't think you are being presumptuous at all. But you might need to be patient. I think there is a small window when this would be useful to someone, no? They'd have to have a tank that is essentially unstocked but cycled and ready to go. Problem is, once the tank is ready to go - and this is speaking for myself - I won't be wasting any time getting somewhere where I can buy stock. And once I start to stock, I might not be able to take everything. (I don't know... I'm too much a newb to be able to visualize how that would fit in a tank.) The other problem could be the LR. If we had a tank that was cycled and with CUC and ready to stock, it would probably be a Red Sea Max with 40 lb LR and I'm not sure we would be able to take another 10 lb. I would have to plan ahead in order to take advantage of that.

I would offer to do that, but we don;t even have the tank yet so we're a month or more - minimum - until we'd be ready. And second, we're leaning toward the kit from Reef Depot which includes 40 lb of LR and quite a bit of live stock.

I don't know what your time frame is, but you might need to keep this offer out there until someone is prepared to take advantage of it.

best,
hank
