Research... yes. I learned my lesson with my planted tank. I thought I had done enough research. Don't worry, I will not be rushing into a reef aquarium.

I'm a fairly new to freshwater (almost 1 year). I fearlessly entered the world of planted aquariums, was humbled a bit, but don't regret it. I learned allot fast. I only got my planted tank running smoothly a few months ago, some of the plants are still recovering.

And now I'm moving. For various reasons I am not going to try and move my tank. I'm trading in my fish, and starting over. I am going to continue with planted tanks. I didn't learn all that for nothing.

If anyone wants to give any of my fish a good home LMK.

I have:
8 Tiger Barbs, 2 Boesemani Rainbows (wish I had 6), 1 banded Rainbow, 2 zebra loaches, 1 redtail shark (grew up to be a bit of a terror), 4 cardinal tetras, 4 platys, 1 or 2 japonica shrimp (hard to find them), 1 otto, 1 sm pleco (not sure what kind, LFS told me it would only get 6").

If you want them, they're yours. I'll probably take down the tank in a week or 2, I'll let you know.
