Here is a small list of role outs for 2012

1. USA based parts store - we are working with a dealer to accomplish this asap based on mass user request

2. Canadian/USA dedicated support forum

3. Parts catalogue website, listing all the accessories and what they do, one thing we see is that not everyone is aware of the mas range of accessories out there.

4. New User start Up guide. I have enlisted Allen and hopefully Nick to help with this, if anyone else wishes to join the pool there is a very big incentive to do so.

This all will be rolled out in the first quarter of the new year.

Sounds great to me!!

2012
should be a great year for anyone looking to move up to the GHL line of equipment.

this thread is about what we are doing in regards to Canadian and uSA service support, if you want to know what GHL are doing in regards to product updates specifically, please can you post on the support forum.

Do you have any time frame for this one? Days? Weeks? Months?

I was going to order a couple EVG-AP-2F boards and Progressive is going to charge $28 for UPS shipping or $16 for post office shipping!!!

$16 sounds like a fair deal to me ;) I know so many ask me why cant dealers offer free shipping on small items, well the reason is making a loss, the actual profit a dealer will make on 1 x evg card sale is $8 before transaction fees, so if they go and bolt on free shipping they would make a loss, then nobody would be in business.

The biggest issue in the industry right now is dealers dont want to stock goods as it ties up money and banks dont give out line of credits that easy these days, so they order on a client required basis, so if you went and ordered from Jo blow fish store down the road he is just in his rights to chuck on the price of our shipping cost.

We now luckily have a few dealers that can see the benefit of carrying ProfiLux as the client base has grown massively and we hope within 6 weeks this will be up and running.

Wow! I'm not looking for free shipping here or for the dealer to lose money. I'm just saying the shipping costs are expensive for the size of the items. I think the issue is shipping from Canada to the US. That's why I wanted to know when there would be a US dealer to have another option. USPS shipping within the US for this wouldn't cost more than $5.

dont worry, i Know you were not asking for free shipping I was just expanding the question to cover all issues and questions we face weekly.

In reality for the items you mention being shipped from the USA, they will only be slightly less, postage is not the only expensive for a dealer when doing mail order. Time, effort, material, these are all factors to be considered.

I think you will see some good changes in the year coming ;)

Do you know of any other ProfiLux owners in your general area? There may be someone there close to you wanting to order some items and just waiting to save on shipping It's possible you could get with a couple and place an order with a dealer and get more items shipped together where-by everyone getting a break on shipping. You may want to post about it on your local forums just in case.

When is the new user startup guide going to be finished (or started :P) I am a new user and not very computer savy but I wanted the best and got a P3. I don't want to bombard you guys with simple stuff like correct connections and such and what each cord is for. Hopefully the guide will help me answer those questions

It will be a work in progress throughout 2012 built on the new support forum.

You should not have any issues with cable placement as the manual has a pictorial how to in the first couple of pages, but if you get stuck feel free to post your questions at www.profiluxsupport.com
