NEXT MEETING! March 5th

Mark has graciously allowed us to have a meeting at his house on March 5th at 2:00pm.

We will be nominating and electing officers at this meeting.

Please try to attend this meeting, it will have a big impact on the rest of this year. Hope to see everyone there!

How many people are in the club as if now I live in Clarksville but don't see much action on here does many people use this page

At last count we had 22 members in the club. However we have never been consistantly successful at using this forum as a communication tool. We tyipically have 8-15 people at any given meeting even if they don't all post. Hope to see you there too!

I think the most people ever has been around 20. It's a small club for sure, but very much worth joining. I've only been in the area 18 months and am very glad I joined. Overall great people, the older members especially, lots of knowledge and a few club trips a year to make things fun.

I've been in the hobby for just over ten years and have learned from almost everyone in the club. Small in numbers, yes, small in knowledge and good people, definetly not.

Just a reminder, I haven't verified this with Janie, but I believe that membership dues must be paid at this meeting if you intend to vote on new officers. I believe that membership dues are $10 each per voting member, but we allow family memberships for the same price. The family rate allows one vote per family.

Janie, can you verify this?

Thanks for posting this Matt. I'm sure some have questions regarding dues and votes.

Dues are $20.00 per family each year with only one eligible voter per family according to our club bylaws. It drops to $10.00 after June each year.

In order to vote in this year's election of officers club dues for 2011 will need to be paid in advance of the vote. We will make time for this at the beginning of the meeting.

In the past, we have always voted in new officers in the month of February each year. However, due to illness in the families of some or our officers this year, we have had to move our meeting to March 5th. Thank you all for understanding.

We look forward to getting things back on track starting this Saturday!
