My tank is going pretty well . I am working on a mixed reef. All corals are now growing, but a few could or should probably have more color than they do. No major pest problems. Tank has been running now for 10 months.

Here's stock list:

Branching Hammer
Favia
Duncan
Trachy
Plates (2)
Pink bird nest
Monti Undata
Monti digitata
Monti Cap
Zoas

Ocellaris Clown
Randall Goby
Black Axil Chromis
Cleaner shrimp Asst'd hermits CUC
Strombus snails (CUC)

What types of corals should I consider as logical next step? Nothing to hard. I'd like some more SPS.

I tried a Blasto , and a bubble earlier on which didn't survive and I don't know why.

I have 6 x 24W T-5's for lighting. Parameters seem right.

No measurable PO4 or Nitrate.
Ca at 400
Alk at 8.9
Mg 1400

That's all I test for.

I use GFO and GAC in sump. I supplement with Kalk in ATO water plus 10 ml of two part per day. Half in morning and half at night.

How are your SPS pieces presently? If they are lacking colour, and if you lost a bubble and blasto, it could be that your feedings or nutrients are a bit on the low side. It could be your blasto and bubble starved (and flow or lighting could have contributed), and that your SPS is not coloured up because of lower nutrients as well.

If you want, I'd try a milli frag or small colony and see how that goes.
