nice fan

i recently purchased a 250 watt MH pendant, i notice the tank heating up, and so i need a fan. anyone have suggestions on a fan that would work with a pendant light. The little black square fans just dont seem like they would work since i dont have a canopy---just a glass top.

Take the glass top off, and you might be fine. If you are worried about things jumping in or out, get some eggcrate/light difuser. This will also help with gas exchange and help keep your pH stable.

Yea go topless its much better. See how your temp does after that. If you still need somthing then you might look into a fan point at the sump.

Even with a fan I am not sure any fan would help much. You are trapping all the heat in wiht the glass top. The eggcrate will work unless you get the MH light to close then it will burn/melt it.
