They may be able to make a knock off but they sure can't speak english.

If I were looking for a nice skimmer design at that price I would not care if the ebay listing read like this. I buy a lot from over seas and the English is usually butchered. Just wanted to point out an inexpensive skimmer to those that skim.

has my curiousity peaked... I tried searching and didn't turn up any other threads on this skimmer. Maybe a thread in the equiptment forum is in order, see if anyone actually owns one.

I started a thread in the equipment forum and Luke33 is looking into the V. Most of his customers are in the US on ebay?? I cant imagine he would market it over here with a 99.7 + feedback?? If not a simple $30 pump from via aqua should work and plop in the NW. Interesting none the less.

they seem to be international on the pumps so I would guess they would work over here. If you are interested I would send the HK guy an email and ask.

I am debating it on my LPS tank but sales this month have been slow. I just might give it a whirl though. Chad at GWA should look into importing them and selling them through his website and store----------------------------hint hint-----------!!!!!!!!!!!!!you might might make some $$ as there seems to be no US distributor? I will take a nice discount off of the cost of one for the suggestion and idea though!

I know you have invested in one of those expensive, borrowed, plastic skimmers----but $900 is insane??? for PLASTIC?? You could us a different pump on this skimmer, mod it and save $600-800? No BK would be worth more than $300 to me IMHO. I could build it cheaper in a DD or NW. JMHO and this is a great deal for people looking at inexpensive skimmers----but why skim at all??
