nice triggerfish?

i really like trigger fish but idk how compatible they are for reef systems. my tank is a 75g .im planning on clams as well will they eat them? ive heard iether horror storys or good things about them from alot of ppl thx for the help

In that size tank, there are not really any great options for you. The smaller triggers that could be kept in there, will likely taste your clams. The Xanthichthys triggers (bluejaw, crosshatch, sargassum) can usually be kept with clams, but they should go in a large tank.

agree with Wolverine ,the problem is going to be your clam . you can get lucky but there is always a risk .

What Wolverine said...you could probably find a juvenile and keep it in their for quite some time.

I got a young niger trigger and havent had any problems. I dont have any clams does that mean i wont be able to have clams with him in the tank?
