Niger tang

Some say they are reef safe others say no I have had mine 4 months in a 120ga with soft corals snails yellow tang and have had no problems yet anone had any problems

do you mean a niger trigger? never heard of a niger tang, and a google search didnt reveal anything on the subjest of a niger tang.

I had one and it never touched anything none of my sps or softies. But like with all fish it depends on the particular one you get.

i think he will be fine for a while, they do get quite big. He probably won't bother your fish or coral, shrimp? all bets are off after he hits 7" but its hit or miss. Great fish wish i had the room for one

Mine took out all my mobile inverts(snails, hermits, shrimp) Didnt bother corals or the other fish though.

its not that triggers eat corals...its that they pick them up and flip them looking for food...this behavior wont come out until its bigger tho
