Niger trigger vs. puffer

My Niger trigger is bigger than my puffer and is kicking the heck out of it. I am afraid that in a few days, the puffer will be stressed out, stop eating hide and then die.

Is there another fish I can put in there to offset this thuggish behavior of my Niger trigger? Thanks.

How long have they been in the tank together and how big is the tank? If one has just been introduced the aggressive behavior may subside in a few days after dominance has been established.
Are they both getting enough food? Try feeding more or you could try turning off the lights and rearranging the rockwork to break up any established territories.

If it was me I'd take out one of 2 to be on the safe side.
