Niger triggerfish in reef. Anyone tried?

Hi.
I am looking for someone with experience of holding niger triggerfish with corals. Will it give the corals too much trouble?
Also, do they eat peppermint shrimps?

Thanks!

I had a Niger trigger in a mixed reef for about a year. Never had any trouble with him eating corals. I even had a couple cleaner shrimp he did fine with. As he grew, he got more aggressive until one day I got a call from my daughter that for no apparent reason, he ate my male false perc clown. I just decided to let him go to another reef. Like I said though, never a problem with corals.

All triggers may eventually go after smaller fish, which is part of their normal appetite in the wild. Of course, a lot of people are lucky with their triggers, but I don't want to take that chance with my fish load.

ive had a couple of nigers over the years. one was completely placid, a really nice community fish and the other one was a complete nutter that eventually i had to get rid of because at feeding times he used to try and bite everyother fish in the tank.
neither ever showed any interest in corals and completely left them alone.
what i will add is that the grow at really fast rate and would outgrow your 250ltr in no time at all !

thank you everyone. I guess this guy won't go in my tank.
Any other triggerfish that you would recommend? Some type that will suit my tank?
