Night Mode

My night mode was working fine for 2 months and recently I noticed that they did go to night mode at the preset time. I figure no big deal, maybe there was a power brown out for a minute or two.
Then I thought that still should not happen since they are both hooked up to a battery back up. Either way, I just reset them for night mode.
Master pump goes in and out of night mode with no problems but the slave pump comes out of night mode but does not go back at the preset time.
I've been reseting the slave pump for the past 3 nights, any suggestions?

Thanks,
Warren

Hi Warren,

It sounds as if you may be setting the night mode individually on the master and the slave pumps. Master pumps will tell their slave pumps to go into night mode on their own, so you only need to set up the master pump. To do this, cycle power to both of your pumps, then setup the night mode function on the master only. This should fix the problem.

If the problem still persists we can test to see that the pumps are receiving the wireless signal. Try setting one pump into feed mode and check to see that the other pump enters as well. Do this a couple of times. If both pumps don't go into feed mode, one of them isn't catching the packets. Judging by the fact that you mentioned that this just started happening, it's possible that there is some new electronic device on your tank or in your tank room that is interfering with the wireless signal. Testing the wireless receptivity by using the feed mode will allow you to determine this.
