Does anyone have or know how to take good reef pics with this camera? I have set the white balance, contrast etc. all that; I end up with blurry pics. It seems as if the camera is focusing on my glass instead of corals. Any suggestions?

Can you post a sample or two?
I looked at the specs and I see that the camera can focus as close as 4cm in macro mode. That probably means 4cm when you have the lens zoomed out all the way to full wide angle, so make sure that you're not getting closer than 4cm, and that you're not zoomed in too much.
You can figure out if it's a shortcoming of the autofocus system by pointing the camera at something with a lot of contrast and texture. All autofocus systems have a hard time with smooth surfaces.

Greg,
I'm working on your suggestions and will post pics in just a minute for your review.
Thanks-a-lot

Greg,
I'm having trouble uploading my pics. Do I need to compress the file? I keep going over the 50k limit. I have never uploaded a pic through rc. I'm using the gallery icon, is this correct?

Short answer is yes, you do have to compress the file. Long answer is here :p
Give that article a read-thru-- it'll help get you up to speed on image posting and compression. Ultimately you will need to shrink your pictures- by making the actual dimensions smaller and compressing them. Holler if you need help with any of the steps.
