NIMO sends me letters

I get a letter from NIMO almost every month telling me that I use more electricity than all of my neighbors. Does anyone else in the Buffalo area get these, or do I use more electricity than you too?

your lucky only to get a letter I have heard of others getting visits from the FBI. when mine was running 500+ per month I always thought I would get a visit....never got a letter though not even a Christmass card.

No visits from "the man", but I do get some nice charts and graphs.

What are you running that requires so much electricity?

According to my bills, I use about 1500 KWH/Month. I estimate the tank with basement sump to use 450-600, depending on how cold it gets. The pool and air conditioners could be the killers in the summer.

i dont get why they complain when like 90% of the energy created goes unused and is wasted. why not let people use as much as they want? right? they make more money and less energy is wasted.

Not to mention that residential electricity consumption is a drop in the bucket when considering the total amount of generation and distribution.
