a few photos from the ningaloo reef, and shark bay in western australia. no where near as good as some of the others i've seen around here but unique in their own way

i'm also heading over to new caledonia in a couple of months, and am hoping to bags me a chance to be in the water with a nautilus, so will hopefully be able to bring a few photos back as well

Ahhhh... the holy grail of diving exploits - the whale shark. Nice!

How deep was it when you took the pics of the whale shark?

around about 20m, but i think it drops off to 50 not very far (within a few hundred yards) from where we were
