Nitrate out of control

Hello,

I'm really intrigued by what happened after I started running a zeo reactor along with the zeovit system. I'm running it for 6 weeks now and for the fisrt 4 weeks I dosed daily like the program suggests and stopped dosing cold turkey after that to let the system breath a bit (since I lost 3 big corals in the period "”*a large colony of grape coral, a 5 in acro and a 8 month old bubble).

This sunday I tested my water (elos NO3 test) and to my surprise the nitrate is off the chart, over 25ppm. Before I started it, the nitrates where < 1ppm.

Just changed the zeo media this sunday (using the Elos media now) and this time added the recommended amount since I discovered that I have initially overdosed the media using a full liter instead of half a liter (my tank is a 55g).

Any suggestions of where this went wrong besides the media overdose? Everything else looks fine in the tank "” besides my corals lost, the zoas look better than ever, the fish look very healthy, all nuisance algae is gone and the water looks crystal clear.

just adding some of my other parameters that are fairly average besides my KH that's a bit on the high side.

NO2 0
PO below 1 (almost undetectable)
Salinity: 1023

thanks for any suggestions, going crazy with this NO3 spike.
