Nitrate Problem

good to hear that your nitrates are down. I would hardly call the ones that moved your tank professionals.
as mentioned above, macroalgae is a good way to maintain low nitrate levels but it needs to be established first. run your skimmer heavy and wet skim to take out excessive protein. you can also add a bag of Phosgaurd from Seachem in your sump to help bring down your phosphates.
you may start to see some cyanobacteria on your sandbed or rocks but just maintain your nitrate reduction methods and it should go away.

If it's the only LFS in the city I wouldn't complain.
I would also not complain if there were alternatives but those had the best prices and livestock.

My suggestion is next time you visit them, complain but not be aggressive. Maybe they will throw in a discount or free food to keep you happy. On the other hand being a monopoly maybe they won't care much, but you go nothing to lose trying to score a better deal.

yea, lol, also during the move they scratched the inside of the tank right in the front. i was ****ed about that and was like, hey can you guys do anything about this? and he just shrugged his shoulders and was like nah man, and proceeded on acting like nothing happened.
