hi all
one of my anthias which I have had for 2-3 weeks now have developed a very bad case of popeye, it was on one eye first which bulged a lot out, couldn't get any Maracyn Kanacyne nitrofuran... or the usual recommended stuff and as my Q tank has 4-5 new additions I can't add antibiotics to the tank so I was doing a daily 2-3 hours dip in a 1 gallon tank with Bactrim (Gram -ve antibiotic) it did not respond to those and the second eye is starting to bulge out and I can see a very tiny wormlike thing sticking out of it less than 1mm long. I managed to get some nitrofuratoin and will be doing a complete cycle in a 10 G tank.
Can anyone remind me of the recommended dosage of Nitrofuran and how many doses shold I put in the water per day?
