Thanks! This will be my last build, so I put extra time and thought into the build to correct all the things I wish I had done differently. So far, ever aspect is working as I expected, and i haven't found anything I would change.
Other than the recent skimmer upgrade.

***** UPDATE 03-Oct-18 *****

Everything is going very well.
LifeReef Skimmer is working like a champ! One of the best
investments I have made. Very easy to dial in, and once set, it
has not changed. Even when mounting frags, feeding, etc that
would have drove my needle wheel skimmer into a frothing frenzy!
Corals are encrusting.
Coraline is starting to show up.
Still no algae issues.
I'll post pics once I find some time to break out the DSLR.

And I wish I could add this to my signature. But for now...

This is going to be a great thread to use as a guide one day. Love all the work you put into custom parts and plumbing.

Thanks for the words of encouragement!
This will be the last I ever do. It addresses all of the "Things I wish I did different" with my previous tanks.

I'm hoping once it fills in a bit, I can post a FTS.

I bought similar sump (triton vesion) and hated where the bulkhead is located for return pump, good luck

Due to how I had my plumbing configured, I was unable to use the stock location. What i did was cut a slot in the return section cover, and that went around the return pipe. Plus I am using 1-1/4" return and the bulkhead that comes with the sump as supplied is 1".
But in the end it worked out perfectly. Look at post #31-#32, you can see how I plumbed the return.

The sump is very well made, and I personally like the filter sock layout over the Trigger System sump I had.
