No Bubbles in Skimmer - Bak Pak 2

Just replaced my old BakPak 2 with an AquaTraders knockoff plus a 250 (their recommendation for powerhead) - here's the site where I bought it - powerhead

Did they send me the wrong powerhead? There's another model called the 250PS, which says it's for protein skimmer. Mine (250) has a (I'm guessing) venture air line. No bubbles at all in skimmer. If I blow through the tube I can create bubbles, but would this explain my no bubbles at all? Can I even use this powerhead on the fake BakPak?

Any ideas? I've tried adjusting it several different ways, and it doesn't seem to help - no bubble production whatsoever.

Wouldn't surprise me if these bozos sent me the wrong powerhead. Thanks in advancepowerhead

Run the venturi airline closer to the impeller of the intake....or if there is a valve on the end of the airline then open it up some more.

Are you sure you installed the airline on the proper inlet on the venturi attachment?
