No feed mode on my ios app

Yesterday, I down loaded the ios app and after installing both of my MP40's and setting up my schedules within the Reef Link app, I'm unable to find the feed mode function within the app.

I followed all the instructions and both pumps received the full and complete install within the ios app. I'm wondering if there is a bug with the ios app or did I do something wrong while setting up my schedules.

Any pointers to rectify this little issue, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Randy

Hello Alex,

When I sign into the IOS app, the app displays the round control wheel, which I don't think is correct.

I'm wondering if I did not set the schedules correctly for both of the pumps and save it as a present.

Besides no display for the feed mode, the schedule I created for both pumps are not following the program.

If you could steer me in the right direction, I would surely appreciate your expertise help.

Thanks,
Randy

Tried everything last night and I'm still unable to see the Feed Mode on my IOS home page of the app. I have everything else figured out and running, except for the Feed Mode icon on the IOS home page.

As any other users of the IOS app, have you had had problems with the Feed Mode displaying on the IOS home page.

I also tried uninstalled and reinstalling the IOS app several times as well, which I'm now thing there is a bug within the IOS app.

Thanks,
Randy

Hey Randy, Here are some pics just for reference on mine...

Bring up your menu and press Home

After that You should get a screen like this... If the Vortech pump isn't there then FEEDMODE does not show up. If that's the case then your pumps may not be updated and communicating with Reeflink. If the pump is showing up then you may need to contact support. Good Luck! Hope this helps :)

Hello Mutltley101,

Thanks so much for your suggestion and if that does not solve the problem, I'll call Ecotech tech support.

Thanks again,
Randy

Hello again Muttely101,

Just gave your suggestion a try, and it was a no go.

Everything is working great, pumps are scheduled and working like they should, which I can change the pump to any mode I choose. The only problem I'm have is the Feed Mode not displaying on the home page iOS app.

Yesterday, I left a message to the Ecotech tech support center at 12:55 PST and no phone call was ever return. I'm assuming they are very busy handling follow-up calls. Just called and they have gone home for the weekend.

Thanks,
Randy

Well the only thing I can suggest is to go into settings and toggle feed mode duration and pump speed... There is also a local on or off switch when you go into schedule the pumps at the top right hand corner... Other than that, it seems you did as much as you could from your end without support.

Hello Muttley,

I'll give this the old try and if this does not work, I was going to reinstall both my pumps again and see what happens.

If all else fails, then I'll call Ecotech support on Monday morning from work.

I'll let you know if I have any success,
Randy

Update...I tried everything last night, factory reset both pumps then reinstalled the pumps with the Reeflink upgrade and still no feed mode.

Maybe I'll try performing a reset on my Reeflink control box and see if that solves my issue.
