and i also hear that fish grow accordingly to tank size...which also means that fish wont grow as big as they normally would in a smaller tank.....so most of your information for not helpful to my post.........
I saw that someone already pointed out that the fish will grow to it's normal size, no matter what tank size it is in, however, fish's growth can be stunted, and that leads to a very unhappy fish, who will probably not live as long as it would have, given a better, larger environment.
chicken wire would rust. Keeping the tank completely covered (very little space for airflow) can make your pH drop, temp stay high, and not allow gas exchange (which causes the pH drop)
