No Light for a few days?

Hey all. I am looking at selling my current lighting system and using that money to buy some new lighting. I only have a few soft corals and a mushroom. How long can they go without any light? I would think it would be less then a week for the new lights to be in after the old ones are shipped out.

Thanks

My tank went over a week without lights. I have a mix of softies, lps, sps and anemones and everything lived. In the ocean you have to imagine that they encounter storms for days at a time, along with strings of cloudy days. Obviously things will start to decline if light isnt available for prolong periods of time, but if its around a week I wouldnt even think twice about it.

But even during storms there is some light. Is there much light from the room into the tank?

I don't have an answer for you but for my own peace of mind I would at least put up some cool white bulbs to give SOME light if it is a week.
