According to Gavin @ PAF / Walt Smith International the last permit for the collection of clams have been issued. This permit is for 1000 clams - after that there will be no more collection of clams.
The government of Salomn Islands is opening a government funded farm - but the selection and stock will be very limited (only 1" clams).
Although you may still be able to purchase clams from Vietnam?
Has anybody else heard about this?
