Just saw today some kind of anemone or filter feeder of some sort.. I can't get pic yet but am working on it . I'll describe it. It has pure white tentacles and is about an inch in diameter. The tentacles are very, very short and they are only on the outside circumference. I prodded it and it retracted very fast. However it did not completely disappear. Thats about it. Any educated guess without a pic? Thank you.

I know about aiptasia but can't find a pic that looks like what I have. Certain species I guess. So this is definitely aiptasia?

I think you're right. Have aiptasia x and trying to administer it. Damn thing retracts when I get close,so just kind of spreading it in the area? Just a white covering. Dont know if it will work? Thanks

This "aiptasia" is popping up from different holes!! Same animal and when I get close with the syringe he splits. Cant seem to get it. What is amazing is this thing pops up from diff areas. I have the aiptasia x coveriing 3 inch square and the thing pops up somewhere else. Frustrating isn't the word. Any advice?

feather duster, there are probly lots in your tank, are there like tubes on your live rock? Or could be a bulb anemone, does it have white "bulbs" on the tenticles?
