No polyp extension on millipora

I have 2 rose millipora's. When I bought them they had great polyp extension. I've had one in my tank for 1 month and the other for 3 months. Their polyp's do not come out day or night; however, they still have their color and are beginning to encrust.

They are in a 30 gal underneath a NEP fixture with upgraded bulbs. I used to have a very large return that supplied all my flow, but recently downgraded to a slower return and then added a vortech mp10 to supplement the flow.

My parameters are good and stable. Does anyone have any tips on how to coax the polyps back out?

Thanks for your reply. I currently have 1 true perc, 1 royal gramma, 1 pyjama cardinal, 1 bi-color blenny, 1 half-black chromis.

My parameters are good and stable.

Can you be more specific and list exactly what they are? Do you dose anything?

Sure. Cal 420, Alk 8, Nitrates <10 API. Phosphate ? (Hannah meter on order). SG 1.027 refractometer. PH bounces between 7.9 and 8.0. Temp averages 79.5.

I dose MB7 and Vodka. Im currently in my 3rd week of both, however this is been going on since before I started dosing.

On a side note, I watched the blenny for a time yesterday, but never saw him get near any of the sps.

bi-color blenny will pick at sps, if you want proof just ask, lol, one nearly killed some of my nicests sps

I agree I had a sailfin blenny that tore up my green birds nest. I had a use a trap to get it out. The birdsnest is completely healed now.

+1 on the blenny, my friend almost had his red planet ruined by one. He got the blenny out and within weeks the RP has turned around and is looking great.
