No power to controller

I received a used 7300 with single controller, but I plugged everything in and there is no power to the controller. The pump is working great, and is plugged into the blue power box, and then the controller is plugged in the bottom of it. No lights are coming on and I don't know if there is supposed to be a separate power supply for the controller or not?

Thanks

Daniel

Make sure the controller is firmly plugged in, sometimes it takes a firm push. Otherwise I suspect their is water damage to the driver or controller.

Also make sure the potentiometer on the driver is at full power and the controller should be connected before the pump is plugged in.

Roger, still no power to the controller. Should I send it in, or can I go to Rick's Reef in kenner and have him look at it/fix it?

Thanks

Daniel

I don't know if he can do much for this problem, these are usually a bit complicated. Why don't you send it to me.

Thanks!

Mail already came. Is it coming UPS? It won't be here until about 6 or 7 and we will be closed but Dave will be here to handle the pick ups so he'll sign for it.

oh yeh it's coming ups, might come tomorrow even. Just letting you know it came from me, i only left a little note inside because I didnt' have time to explain in detail.

Thanks

It was easy, the cord got yanked on and the wires pulled off the circuit board. I just resoldered them and it works, sending it back today.

yes. Be sure to include a contact number as depending on cirucmstances it may not be warranty.
