No sump

What would happen if I were to leave the sump of for about a day. They would have flow from koralias but no filtration.

You'll be ok. The necessary bacteria pretty much covers anything that's submerged in an established tank, so a little flow is really all you need.

Might have temp issues (( if you keep your heater in your sump )), and it is starting to get cooler where you live.

You could always move the heater to the DT while doing what you need to do. I would also be sure to let the display drain to its natural minimum water level, then displace a little bit more water just to be safe.

You might want to also keep the phosband/carbon filter on just to keep water moving in the sump. Stagnant water can cause problems.

I have done this the two times I had to replace ruturn pumps.

Yeah, I would think a full 24 hours of stagnant water could lead to some issues. Your DT should be fine with the Koralias. I would get a small pump just to circulate the water around the sump.
