ORCA President 2007~2008
Hi Everyone,
Nominations for 2008 ORCA Board of Directors positions are now officially open. There will be nomination sheets posted at Septembers meeting and Elections will be held at the October meeting.
And PPLLLEEEAAASE... I know it's funny and a real hoot to poke fun and attempt to nominate folks that you know aren't interested :lol: but this is really a serious matter. It's time to sit back and take a serious look at who you think will do the right things for our club. I love the sense of humor that we have in this club. In fact that's what keeps me coming back. But for this request, let's give it some real thought and consideration.
Without strong ORCA leadership you and I will be very disappointed with what could possibly happen. People tend to sit back and let others drive, which for the most part is ok. However, now it's time for others to step up and take the lead.
I believe there is plenty of new talent in our organization. We are professional in everything we do. And I'm very excited to see what the next team has in mind.
And, this year is not over yet so don't think we (the 2007 BOD) are through. We have more fun and exciting meetings and events planned before years end so stand by for more info!
