non-live rock

hi all,
i have some base rock that i used for my FOWLR awhile back. Now i'm thinking of using it to mix with some live rock on my new reef tank. Thing is, the base rock has been sitting on a bench in my backyard for a some months. Would my reef be ok with these pieces?
