Hi all, first wanted to say hello to all of you long timers in ReefCentral. I've got about 5 years of background in the freshwater world. I sold all my freshwater equipment with the intent of turning my 90 gallon to a reef aquarium....then I fell out of the hobby completely (and the 90 got sold).

Its time to build a reef tank, I'm two years removed, but now ready to get back in!

I'm going to start with a 29 gallon reef. Bought the tank today in the "dollar per gallon" sale. Also bought a 10 gallon tank, with the intent of building a DIY sump which I'm really excited about (that'll be fun, I realize not incredibly beneficial).

However...I need a stand. Is there a stand that can be purchased that can hold a sump underneath? While I see a lot of people do the DIY thing, I have NEVER built anything out of wood, and don't want my first project to be something required to hold 350 pounds (or whatever) up above the hard wood floors in my house....and eventually, all the $$$ and time invested in whats inside the tank.

Anyone have a good stand they can recommend (that could be purchased)? Something with even a tad bit of room that could hold my 10 gallon?

Yep sure....my local Petco has nothing out (they used to?). but I have some big time shops near me where I used to shop, I haven't been back there to check...but that was certainly on my "to-do" list.

Yeah if you don't want to give building a shot try Craigslist, your local reef forum or if you have a used aquarium shop in town those are usually pretty good as well.
