I am new to the saltwater hobby. I have a 32g biocube and after the first night of having the live sand in and caribsea sand in over night I noticed a little plant growing. You can see it in the left hand side of the tank where my wife put it after adding live rock 4 days later. I am concerned if its aiptasia? Or is it algea?? I wasn't planning on any anemone lol. Any information would be appreciated! :fun5:

Need a close up pic for a id.

I am at work when I get home I will take a picture and post it this afternoon. Terrible picture I know...lol. I am just worried this sucker will spread everywhere!!:headwallblue:

also the plants of the plane are fake lol
I would remove fake plants in a saltwater aquarium. Marine fish, depending on which but most will nip at it unlike a freshwater aquarium. Plastic is obviously not digestible for the fish as can ultimately kill them.
