Nori Clip Ideas?

I'd like to glue a nori clip to the inner magnet of my Algae free cleaning magnet. The magnet is kept in the tank at all times, so I'd like to find a BLACK nori clip so that it won't be as visible. Seems the only ones I see available are the white ones... Does anyone have any clever ideas for making one? Or perhaps someone knows of a company that makes black clips? I found one guy but he's in the UK.

I'd thought about using a black plastic clothes pin, but all the clothes pins I find have metal springs on them, so that wouldn't be good for use in the tank long term... Ideas?

Look for plastic tarp clips. My local hardware store carries them in a dark blue color. Maybe you can find a online source that has them in black.

Edit: just did a quick google search and they have a wide variety and did see some in black.

Maybe you can use some nylon fasteners and glue to attach it to your magnet. I use these and a piece of gutter guard to feed Roggers Reef food.

I just fold & put it under the magnet.
After it gets small enough lift the magnet.

That's a good idea too. I like the idea of the clip though. I'll be able to move the nori station around after putting the seaweed in the clip.

I just use one of the TLF nano mags. It is small and it grips the algae great.

You could use black Krylon Fusion paint and just paint your clip.

I would NEVER leave a cleaning mag in the tank all the time...

For some reason a cleaning magnet is IRRESISTIBLE for any non-reefer to grab and start "helping you by cleaning".... not understanding that the smallest grain of sand will leave scratches all over the glass/acrylic.

I simply used an existing clip, some leftover egg-crate and made a "hanger" that goes over the center brace. works great. also the snails cant go up the glass to get the nori. (I want them eating other algae).
