I noticed that my Drs Foster and Smith magazine sells Nori as fish food. I have nori in my kitchen for when I make sushi that I bought at the grocery store. Is it not wise to feed my fish this type of Nori?
Took the words right out of my mouth. I cook for a living.. I have seen a variety of nori in kitchens. Many are sesame flavored or have bonito (dried fish) in them. Make sure you read the back of the package. The good "pure" nori says 100% dried kelp or seaweed. Sometimes there is also a small package inside that absorbs water. I tear mine into small peices and soak in RODI then strain with a fine fish net and transfer to the tank. Just in case.
